Do you have a love for cities with old, vintage charm and a passion for shopping? Well, clear your calendar and start planning your trip to Waco, Texas. Within a year I have been able to travel from Florida to Waco, TX three times and have discovered new places every visit. But, if I only had a long weekend to try to capture the best of Waco in 3 days, this would be my itinerary:

Day 1:

  • Magnolia Market: The Silos are amazing and there is stuff for the entire family. Don’t forget your camera! There are some great photo opportunities that you don’t want to miss. Go early and get a cupcake from the bakery before the line gets crazy long. And be sure to stay long enough to enjoy lunch at some of the amazing food trucks!
  • The Findery: From custom designs to home decor to clothes. This is a one stop shop and possibly one of my FAVORITES. Be prepared to spend an extended period of time in here and fall in love with everything they have.
  • The Findery [Ware]house: Exit out the backdoor of The Findery and walk across the parking lot the their warehouse. You can thank me later!

Day 2:

  • Junque in the Trunk: I purchased the most amazing dresser here last time we were there. They have a lot of re-purposed furniture, wall decor and amazing candles. The owner is the sweetest and makes you feel so welcomed. We ended up visiting the shop twice while we were there!
  • Shades of Shabby:  (located next door to Junque in the Trunk) Be prepared to fall in love with custom farmhouse tables and one of kind decor.
  • The Junky Monkey: Another good shop located on La Salle Ave. They carry a wide variety of decor and old, hard to find items.

Day 3:

  • Spice Village: This place is AMAZING! I recommend going on a Sunday because most of the other stores in Waco are closed on Sundays. Located at 2nd & Franklin, this 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse offers an incredible shopping experience for everyone! It has 60 boutiques all under one roof and a unique shopping experience!

Now, get to planning your Waco trip because you don’t want to miss this incredible experience!
